A Brief Introduction To The Chinese Automotive Industry
China was selected as the top most car manufacturer in the last decade with manufacturing capacity of 14 million units every year that even surpassed country like Japan with a huge margin. China started its journey in automobile industry in 1931 with the invention of one big truck named Ming Sheng which was founded by Zhang Xueliang. In 1956, the first contemporary industrial unit was discovered in China to boost up enormous factories that were afterwards situated in Nanjing till 1960 such as Shanghai automobile industries, National heavy duty group of trucks etc.
First Chinese car was discovered in 1958 called Shanghai SH 760 that graced the Chinese roads with its presence for many years. Later on in 1991, Volkswagen industries redeveloped this car. The two most dominant manufacturers of European vehicles were two separate entities that were entirely Chinese automobile industries which when collaborated with each other gave 56% of world market share. Next era of Chinese motors was started in 1985 when an established company Volkswagen signed up a contract with Shanghai Automobile to merge up all local industries in Shanghai to produce renowned motors that achieved phenomenal success for many years.
Chinas started its third phase of vehicle business in 2000 when a notorious motor company launched intact Chinese to round up the production line. Now the scenario has changed as the entire world is manufacturing simple cars to heavy load vehicles with Chinese mechanical parts and engine designs. This is a stage when China’s own domestic automobile business is increasingly on a competitive edge.
Advances have now been made in the vehicle lighting industry such as with Xenon Headlights in China.
