Project Background

Three Gorges hydropower complex project consists of TGP dam, power plant, water-discharge facilities, ship lock, and Maoping auxiliary dam. The construction of the dam located in Hubei began in 1993. The 22.5 billion U.S. dollar project is a multi-functional water control system built at the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The water level is expected to reach 175 m and be fully functional in terms of flood control when the Three Gorges project is completed.

Product Application

In 2003, Zhenjiang Electrical Equipment Factory won the bid on cable support systems for the left bank of Three Gorges Water Power Station. In 2006, we successfully won the bid on cable support systems for the right bank project, which cost more than 10 billion RMB. 

We have supplied products and service for many other key projects in water power industry such as Huanghe River Xiaolangdi Power Station, Wujiangsu Power Station, Hongjiadu Power Station, Suofengying Power Station etc.
